UQ' Advice

Sorry to hear your wooooooows. Bummer.
Always remember that in your life it wont always be that way. The sun will shine again and I do ask that you try (I know it can be difficult) to see all the good things around you.

Not sure about the fatherly advise but how about UQ advise.

Question:
What do you really want?
There MUST NOT be any doubts about your answer!

If you no longer want him in your world then he is gone. Plane and simple.

If you do want a lover in your future then I suggest you start by visualising you both together having fun times. As many and varied as possible. Rehearse the feeling that your want to experience. This will help you bring your subconscious into a more positive mood and the aim is to eliminate your doubts. By eliminating the doubts then you will gain the courage to talk to him (preferably face to face but over the phone will do).
Do explain how you feel about him and ask him if he feels the same way toward you.

HP sounds as though he is a nice guy.
How about you TALK TO HIM girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though you may put your heart into the message, texting is from one machine to another. It is impersonal.
We all prefer to HEAR the other person talk to us. Face to face is the best but requires a lot of courage sometimes.
We need to hear the other person especially when our emotions are involved.
That is from my own experience.

Q's theory about men:
Firstly our hunter gather brains are wired very differently from you gentle women. Very different chemistry was involved and always will be.
Men feel very uncomfortable about talking about our emotions as this can be consider to be a weakness. As a hunter gather we are well aware that weakness means an opportunity to be exploited. If we were hunting prey that means death!
Some of us however are trying to overcome this theory. ;-)
