Fun and Perth

So tomorrow, after I wake up, which is bound to be early as Mum really does enjoy waking me up for some sick reason.

We'll be heading off to Midland to check out beads, Mum is bead crazy and if I can make a nice necklace or two which I'll never wear and spend some time with Mum, then that makes me happy.

We recently found out that our "Moonstone" necklace, which we suspiciously picked up a nice piece about the size of a 50 cent piece for like $5, is actually opalite.

I did think the stone was strangely perfect in appearance. So shhhh! I have a really nice Moonstone necklace and I like it.

Opalite is of course a man-made stone, but of course a lot of traders pass it off as moonstone. Ooooh so pretty though!! And no, I did not choose it coz they say its a stone of love and blah blah and for any other reason than it is a really nice "stone"

Goldstone of every variety (blue, brown, green) are man-make, so are catseye, I almost laughed when someone in Europe who worked in an actual jewellery shop called catseye a semi-precious stone. You can tell by just looking at it. That one didn't fool me...

Oh, so my point of this blog was to bore you to sleep with the last of my activities before I am chained to a desk and working again. Another girl left work, so we're down another. Oh well. That's life.

Sunday I think we're going to the Markets, I am just dying to get that a backpack or two which shrink down and turn inside out to be the size of a phone.

I almost got one for my trip, but I stooged out and I regretted it. They are actually regular backpack size and they would've been way more comfortable than the stuffit bag I did buy which dug into my back.
