Madame Bummer!

Madame Butterfly or better named Madame Bummer gets 5 thumbs down!

• No seating as advertised - One thumb down!
• Big screens in stupid places restricting seating (on hard ground!) - Two Thumbs down!
• Only seating available near walkway and at the side of the stage big screens are too far away to view - Two thumbs down
• A boring pain the in a** speech at the beginning - One thumb down!
• Ambulance parked on the grassed area and an ambo officer telling us to move it once we'd settled into a good spot - Three thumbs down!

I could go on coz I was in a grump, I really didn't want to go out and I whined and complained and bitched and got a sore bum. For once I didn't get bitten by mozzies, but then it was windy and they wouldn't have been interested in struggling with the wind to suck my blood.

So 2 out of 3 Perth Festival 2008 events I wanted to go to stink!

What is up with that?

To top it all off, no one is able to go to the movie My Friend Totoro, with me, I'll have to check with Caspian, to make sure. But I think that will turn out to be a bummer too!!

What a wash out, I had all those expectations and failed! Perth really sucks sometimes!

The night wasn't totally wasted, we did have a stop off at Fast Eddy's and I had some fruit - well ok, a banana smoothie and a cute guy smiled a wow smile at me. Though I was grumpy and probably pulled a scowl at him.
