I've Gotta Get out of the Place!!

I have two (2) places I gotta get out of:

Work - it stinks I have a control freak for a boss. I got interrogated for needing to go home early. I thought I could avoid the questions but no! I had to tell her that I had to go home because it will be the last time (really the second last time) I see my travel agent before I move. The fact being that I had every right to leave early as because of her I had to stay late coz everyone else made up lame excuses for having to leave.

So give me my damn half hour!

I got it after the inquisition and it really is non of her fing business why I need to leave early.

Oh and the other question was a very pointed question: Why did you make plans when you have to work late? What do you mean? You had your day off last week, you get a RDO every fortnight why can't I have my fing half hour?

Ok, so I never realised I was that angry, but again it has shown me that yes, I need a new job!

I realised today that the second in charge (or so she thinks) actually always points accusatory questions at me: Why are you using that strainer it has plastic in it, it will deteriorate. I told her, well I know that, why cant' you leave me alone about that? I am going to die one day anyway, so why not make it sooner to get away from you?

So today when I think she didn't actually spearhead an accusatory question at me, I got defensive, even enough that I might have to apologise, no I wont actually. But it was probably somewhat offensive that she will dob me into my boss.

For goodness sake! I work with cry babies and petty people.

I feel somewhat better. I hope you sympathise and if you don't well I don't think you have a heart.

Ok that was a bit mean. But I am learning not to let these shty circumstances get to me, its only if I think too hard about them later that they really bother me...
